Sketch -Senior Editor

When I was about 16 years old, my police photographer father, showed me a picture of a male corpse, dressed in woman's clothes hanging from a rope, a ladder behind him, a magazine and a mirror placed on the ground in front of him. He asked me if I could guess what had happened. From that moment, I was struck by the power of the visual image, to tell a story.

Film and photography as a communication medium have ever since been a passion.

In the mid '80's, I found myself in London, working at a production company, and learning the art and craft of film editing, under the tutelage of director Barry Kinsman, himself a former editor for Ridley Scott. I feel fortunate to have started my career, in those last few years when we cut 35mm film. The process of cutting film however is far removed from those early days, but the basic tenets of storytelling remain the same today.

Information and emotion, key ingredients in telling stories with pictures and sound, I've sold sex, drugs and rock and roll, with a razor blade and tape, with a keyboard and a mouse. My passions remain undimmed.
